A half-mile of artisan stalls with malecón goods at better prices, and none of the hard sell.
ShoppingKid-Friendly
Avenida 32 is where the souvenir run gets smart: roughly half a mile of shops and stalls on both sides of the street (Talavera pottery, clothes, huaraches, curios, the full artesanía spread) sold by friendly vendors at kind prices, with an easy, unhurried browsing pace. Quality holds up, the people are genuinely helpful, and street parking is plentiful the whole stretch. Go on a weekday and the math improves again: light foot traffic means unhurried browsing and real negotiating room. There's a raspado (shaved ice) booth that outperforms expectations; earn it by walking the full stretch.
Local tips
Weekdays are the value play: empty stalls mean better negotiated prices and no elbows. Cash strengthens every conversation. Finish with a raspado.
