BooBar is the cantina that figured out the assignment. The bar seats are literally swings, the view is a knockout, and happy hour prices keep the regulars loyal. Drinks come in actual glass, like civilization intended.
The food outperforms the party setting. Shrimp ceviche and steak fajitas both earn their place, and so do the wings with mango-habanero sauce. The staff work the room like they mean it.
It runs lively during games and holidays and anything resembling spring break. Off-season afternoons are the connoisseur's move: same swings, same view, all the calm.
Local tips
Cards and dollars work fine, but tips are cash only, so carry some. Ask about the watermelon shot and the wheel; decline neither.
