Conchal started as a palapa and renovated its way into a clean, comfortable room that reads upscale sports bar: sparkling and attentive, and still serving the fresh seafood that built its name. The gobernador tacos (get the octopus version) are the calling card. The shrimp burrito arrives properly loaded, the aguachiles run bright, and the sushi rolls come out large and unashamed. The kitchen has even been known to make off-menu seafood soup for people who ask nicely.
