The Cholla Bay institution: 35 years of bands, beers, and concrete seats facing the water.
JJ's is one of the originals: the cantina people have been driving out to Cholla Bay for since before half the resorts existed, freshly redone but still itself. The back patio is the point: tiered concrete seating aimed at the water, a band most good nights, dogs welcome at the outside tables, and a crowd that came to stay a while.
The menu leans seafood, and when the band kicks in and the sun drops, the patio is the whole point.
