Las Palomas is Rocky Point's mega-resort: a long stretch of Sandy Beach frontage, pool after pool, plus condo towers with the floor-to-ceiling ocean views the town's postcards are made of. When it's full (and on holiday weekends it is very, very full), the whole place hums like a small city that happens to have a swim-up bar.
Rooms are individually owned condos, so finishes vary tower to tower. The beach and the pools and the sunset don't.
Local tips
On holiday weekends, check-in is calmer before the 4pm rush. Know your phase and building name before you pull in; the property is big enough to get lost on purpose.
Getting there
Sandy Beach, the main resort strip west of town. Follow the Sandy Beach boulevard and watch for the Las Palomas gate.
