Los Shakas is new, and the reviews read like people who found it before their friends did. Leonel and Humberto own it and cook it, and the burger is the plate that made the name: juicy, with crispy bacon on top. The homemade onion rings beside it get their own paragraph in most write-ups. The garlic parmesan wings and the burritos carry the rest of the menu, and the burritos are big. It is a sports bar in the full sense: games on every screen, a pool table, giant Jenga, a boxing machine and an axe-throwing target for whoever loses. Prices are pitched at residents rather than visitors. The beer arrives very cold, and the staff welcome first-timers like regulars, which is the thing reviewers mention most.
