The shrimp here come off the boats you can see from your table, and the sunsets are the kind people plan whole evenings around.

Come an hour before sunset, walk the whole seawall first, then pick your dinner spot from the water side. Prices in the shops are an opening rather than a final answer, and the haggling is expected and good natured. Bring peso coins for the parking meters.

The old port district on the town's south point. Follow signs to the Malecón or just head for the giant letters. Everything worth reaching is walkable once you park.
