Sr. Amigo Restaurant

Sr. Amigo is a Malecón-area standby that families come back to year after year. The seafood arrives with the Sea of Cortez right there, and the guacamole is made fresh when you order it. The staff treat a birthday like a civic event, mariachi serenade included. The signature move is the breaded flounder. It is light and a little sweet, and responsible for more than one I-did-not-know-I-liked-flounder conversion. The margaritas are good and the palomas come garnished with half a grapefruit, with the cool breeze doing what it does.
