Tacos Waves is an open-air taquería with room for a crowd, and the show is the al pastor: a trompo roasting behind a window where you can watch it turn while you wait. The pastor is very good. The staff are as friendly as they come, and the cocktails are a real reason to sit a while.

Al pastor straight off the trompo. Ask for flour tortillas, which may be the best in town. Order a cocktail with dinner.
