Dinner on a pier over the actual water: whole fried fish, sunset dead ahead, guitars if you're lucky.

The Point is exactly what it sounds like: a restaurant at the end of a pier off the Malecón, terrace over the water, sunset straight down the barrel. The whole fried fish for two defeats most parties of three, the Mariscada platter is the couples' order, and the shrimp arrives grilled, breaded, garlic, or coconut depending on your convictions.
Getting there means running the full Malecón gauntlet (vendors, car-parkers, window washers, noise) and then a hallway to the pier where it all falls away and it's just you and the Sea of Cortez. Sometimes a guitar duo finds your table. Let them.
Local tips
Find the hallway that leads to the pier; first-timers walk past it. Sunset seating on the terrace goes first; arrive ahead of golden hour.
What to order
The whole fried fish for two (bring reinforcements) or the Mariscada. Garlic shrimp if you're not committing to a centerpiece.
