The Perfect First Impression
Tucked away in Cholla Bay, JJ’s felt like an instant classic. The moment we arrived, we loved the casual, no-fuss atmosphere—the kind of place where you can grab a drink, kick back on the patio, and watch the tide roll in. Live music, salty air, and unbeatable views of the bay? We were sold.
Close to the Resorts, but a World Away
One of the best things about JJ’s is how close it is to the resorts. It’s just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Sandy Beach, but once you’re there, it feels like you’ve stepped into a hidden gem away from the crowds. Wherever we stay on Sandy Beach, we always make time for a visit to JJ’s.
Food We Can’t Resist
Let’s talk about the food—because we’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and it never disappoints. Some of our all-time favorites:
🍽️ Fish Tacos – Fresh, flavorful, and perfect with an ice-cold beer.
🐟 Grouper Sandwich – A crispy, golden masterpiece.
🍔 JJ’s Burger – Juicy, satisfying, and always a good choice.
🍗 Wings – Perfectly sauced and just the right amount of crispy.
No matter what we order, we always leave happy (and usually already planning our next visit).

Now, every time we’re in Rocky Point, JJ’s Cantina is a must. Whether we’re stopping by for lunch with a view, a sunset drink, or a live music night, it’s the kind of place that just feels like Rocky Point at its best. If you haven’t been yet—go! You’ll see exactly why it’s a classic.
