Gulf Infusion

Gulf Infusion is the house restaurant at the Laguna Shores gated community, and it cooks far above the job description. The scallop ceviche is presented beautifully. Duck burritos sound like a mistake and eat like a discovery. Grouper arrives over proper risotto, and the ribeye borrows the gorgonzola sauce from the filet because someone in the kitchen has taste. Meals open with a complimentary salad and fresh bread, and the room feels genuinely fancy. Servers get named individually in reviews, which is usually a good sign. It serves all three meals, with French toast and chilaquiles verdes carrying the morning shift. The honest note is the geography. It is a real drive out of town on roads that argue back, which is exactly why the rooftop bar at sunset feels like a secret once you get there.
