Santo Coyote looks like a casual oceanfront café and then starts making things at your table: salsa ground fresh in front of you, guacamole and Caesar assembled tableside, plus steak platters set dramatically aflame with Bacanora when the order calls for it. The zarandeado shrimp carries rich, smoky grill flavor, the off-menu lomo is the insiders' request, and the flan with caramel, pecans and walnuts closes arguments. Anniversary dinners happen here on purpose.
The staff is the multiplier: servers get named in review after review (Marco, Javier, Manuel) for hospitality that guests call world-class Sonoran. Breakfast is simpler and pleasant; the evening is the show. Reservations are wise in busy stretches.
